How To Submit Your Website To Google
There are a lot of different ways that you can go about getting your site into Google. Actually, Google has a page where you can submit your site. I personally would stay away from that method. The testing that I have done tells me that your site will do a lot better in Google if you don’t submit.
My preferred method for getting into Google is by simply getting links from another site that’s already in. That’s right, the best way to submit to Google is to get a link from another site, one that’s already in Google – not by submitting to Google. The most common method that I use to get this type of link is doing an article submission. You give an article to an article directory or blog, add in a link, and that link is then published.
In order to make sure that this method works, I did a lot of testing. I tried using Google’s form where you can add your site’s URL, and waited patiently to see how long it took to get in. When I did this, it took about six weeks. Using the alternate method, you can usually get in to Google within a few short days so there’s no question that it’s a superior approach.
While all of this is good to know, I haven’t seen a direct correlation between how long it takes to get into Google, and how much a site is able to earn. This is because being in Google doesn’t guarantee traffic. You need to actually rank well in order to get traffic.
In order to rank well in Google, you will need to get multiple sites to link to yours. Google uses links to determine which sites are the best. Five years of making money on the internet has taught me that the sites that are able to get the most links, generally make the most money.
